Aditya Birla Sun Life Fixed Maturity Plan – Series UT (91 days) is a close-ended income scheme launched on February 7, 2024, aiming to generate income through fixed-income securities maturing within its 91-day tenure. With no entry or exit load, the minimum investment is Rs. 1,000. However, note that redemptions are only allowed on maturity (through stock exchanges) and there’s no guarantee of returns.

The scheme seeks to generate income by investing in a portfolio of fixed-income securities maturing on or before the tenure of the Scheme. The scheme does not guarantee/indicate any returns. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.

The scheme is exposed to moderate interest rate risk and relatively low credit risk.

Benchmark

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked to the performance of the CRISIL Liquid Debt Index.

CRISIL Liquid Debt Index serves as an indicator for all the market participants in the ultra-short-term debt funds category, to benchmark their performance against the index, find out the attributes for the variation in their performance vis-à-vis the index and reshuffle their portfolio keeping in mind the risk/reward trade-off. The index is a useful tool to track volatility, chart correlation and develop hedging strategies.
