AGS Transact Technologies’ Ongo’s AI-Powered Voice Control Fuelling Experience

On June 3, 2024, AGS Transact Technologies Limited informed the stock exchanges that the company’s digital payments platform, Ongo, has commenced testing a voice-controlled fueling feature in its mobile application. Currently, in its pilot phase, Ongo employs Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enable users to fuel their vehicles effortlessly with voice commands.

Integrated with Ongo’s AI Assistant, the app allows users to remotely start the fueling process via voice commands, eliminating physical interaction. Powered by Natural Language Processing (NLP), the AI Assistant effortlessly understands user commands, ensuring an intuitive and seamless experience. Users can activate the voice assistant from the app’s home screen, specify the vehicle and the desired amount, and let the AI Assistant handle the rest.

The seamless integration of voice commands into the Ongo app marks a notable step forward in the evolution of AI-driven solutions. It not only simplifies the refuelling process but also improves overall user satisfaction and efficiency.

Earlier this year, in 2024, Ongo commenced a pilot test program for an open loop Contactless fuelling solution on its app, onboarding more than 1,000 fleet vehicles. The estimated market potential for fleet fuelling alone is ₹1.6 lakh crore annually.
