Aurionpro Transit Enables Google Wallet Integration for Commuters

On May 16, 2024, Aurionpro Solutions Limited informed the stock exchanges that the company’s subsidiary, Aurionpro Transit Pte Ltd, enabled the integration of its app-based and ORS ticketing solution with Google Wallet.

The company stated that passengers can now effortlessly plan and utilise public transportation. After acquiring a ticket, commuters can save it in Google Wallet as a co-branded card or QR code pass. Utilise the app to seamlessly plan journeys via Google Maps and purchase tickets for hassle-free travel. Passengers can also access boarding passes, loyalty cards, event tickets, and public transport tickets securely in one place for quick retrieval. Tickets received via email, such as bus and train tickets, will automatically sync with Google Wallet for select partners if smart personalisation settings in Gmail are enabled.

Speaking of this update, the CEO of Aurionpro Transit, Sanjay Bali, said, “Being able to communicate in real-time with passengers as part of the pay-as-you-go (PAYG) experience is a huge leap forward. This project will benefit riders, giving them visibility into the savings made through PAYG.”

He further stated that it allows operators to foster connections with PAYG passengers, promoting a genuine sense of membership and valued loyalty. Using Google Pay for transit expenses provides a fast, seamless, and secured process. The company aims to assist people feel better in control of their expenses and promote the use of sustainable transportation.
