Axis Mutual Fund has recently filed a scheme information deed (SID) to launch the Axis CRISIL-IBX AAA Financial Services Index – Sep 2027 Fund. It is an open-ended Target Maturity Index Fund investing in constituents of CRISIL-IBX AAA Financial Services Index – Sep 2027.
The investment objective of the Axis CRISIL-IBX AAA Financial Services Index – Sep 2027 Fund is to provide investment returns before fees and expenses that closely correspond to the total returns of the securities as represented by the CRISIL-IBX AAA Financial Services Index – Sep 2027, subject to tracking error/ tracking difference. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.
Axis CRISIL-IBX AAA Financial Services Index – Sep 2027 Fund, a passively managed index fund to mimic the performance of the index through an investment strategy. The Plan would use a buy-and-hold investment approach, whereby debt instruments issued by the financial services industry are held until they mature unless they are sold to fund redemptions or rebalance. The index will be replicated by the Scheme. The Fund Manager may make investments in other issuances up to the designated limitations if the Scheme is unable to replicate the index.
