Closing Bell: Nifty 50 and Sensex, All Sectors Ended in Green

On November 06, 2024, the Indian equity indices ended in green. Nifty 50 was up 1.12% and settled at 24,484.05 while Sensex was up 1.13% to 80,378.13. Nifty Bank was up 0.21% to 52,317.40. The volatility indicator Nifty VIX was down 8.20% to 14.80, reflecting a fall in volatility.
Sectoral Performance
All sectors ended in green, Nifty IT, Nifty Realty and Nifty Oil & Gas were the most gaining sectors with a rise of 3.99%, 2.58% and 2.54%, respectively.
Top Gainer and Losers
BEL, Adani Enterprises, TCS, Wipro and HCLTech were the top gainers for the day, while SBI Life, Titan, HDFC Life, Induslnd Bank and Trent were the top losers on the NSE.
Oil Prices
On November 06, 2024, at 04:04 PM, Brent Crude stood at $74.28, reflecting a fall of 1.65%.
