On September 03, 2024, Cupid Limited, a leading manufacturer in India known for condoms, personal lubricants, IVD kits, deodorants, pocket perfumes, and toilet sanitisers, is expanding its direct-to-consumer (B2C) business.

Over the past 7 months, the company has achieved net revenues of ₹12.50 crore through its B2C efforts and aims to significantly increase this to over ₹50 crore within the current financial year.

Cupid quickly established a wide network with over 40 super stockists, over 500 distributors, and 50,000 retail points. The company plans to expand to 100,000 retail points by the end of this year.

Cupid also enhances its marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and strengthen its distribution network. Its strategy includes improving partner engagement, increasing point-of-sale visibility, and gaining retail support.

To grow its online presence, Cupid is set to collaborate with Blinkit and Zepto soon and is already listed on major e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata 1mg. Additionally, Cupid is diversifying its product range. This month, they will introduce almond hair oil in four variants: massage oils (Jasmine & Loban, Lavender & Loban) and perfume gift packs, showcasing their commitment to innovation and exploring new market opportunities.

Dhruba Goswami, Cupid’s Business Head, said, “As we continue to bring in overall efficiencies in procurement, production and domestic distribution. Our Indian B2C expansion plans place emphasis on our operational excellence and innovative and new product offerings, thus positioning us well for the future. Cupid Limited’s new product offerings have even started garnering international interest with export orders coming in for Cupid’s new range of products.”
