On June 27, 2024, Datamatics Global Services Limited announced through a stock exchange filing that it has achieved ISO 42001:2023 certification, the world’s first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), accredited by the Base Quality Score Recalibration (BQSR). This certification places Datamatics among the early global adopters recognised for implementing a comprehensive framework to establish, maintain, and enhance AI initiatives.

ISO 42001:2023 certification provides a structured approach to managing AI initiatives, focusing on enhancing efficiency and mitigating risks. By adopting this standard, Datamatics can integrate robust AI management protocols across client services, internal operations, and product innovation, ensuring consistent and reliable outcomes for AI-driven projects.

Datamatics has strategically embedded AI across its technologies, operations, and business processes. The company has invested significantly in establishing an AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) to assist enterprises in developing and executing tailored AI strategies company-wide. The CoE has developed several AI accelerators focusing on automation, software development, customer experience (CX), and employee experience (EX) to accelerate AI deployment. Datamatics has also integrated GenAI into its suite of intelligent automation products, including TruBot RPA, TruCap+ IDP, and TruBI Business Intelligence.

Moreover, Datamatics has collaborated closely with Microsoft and Google to develop its customisable small language model and copilot. Recently, the company launched the ‘Partner Onboarding Copilot App,’ powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which was highlighted as one of the top three copilots at the Microsoft Build conference. Microsoft has recognised Datamatics as a pioneer in adopting AI-first strategies.

Commenting on the occasion, the SVP and Global Head of Quality at Datamatics, Gopal Ranjan, said, “ISO 42001:2023 is the first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems. It is an honour to be among the pioneering organisations globally to receive this certification.”

The Vice Chairman and CEO of Datamatics, Rahul Kanodia, said, “Achieving the ISO 42001:2023 certification is a testament to our excellence in AI solutions. It also demonstrates our commitment to responsible and ethical AI, transparency, and continuous learning. This certification will help our customers manage risks and opportunities associated with AI while balancing innovation with governance for their enterprises.”

On June 27, 2024, the share price of Datamatics Global Services Ltd opened at ₹606.50, touching the day’s high at ₹648.00 as of 1:04 PM on the NSE.
