DroneAcharya and Hadron Aviation to Offer Drone Courses

On March 21, 2024, DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations informed in an exchange filing that the company and Hadron Aviation Pvt. Ltd have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop diploma and certificate courses in the field of drones.

Details of the Partnership

On Thursday, DroneAcharya announced a partnership with Hadron Aviation to offer extensive courses at its centres. As per the details stated in an exchange filing, the courses will cover several aspects, including drone building, drone racing, python for GIS and drones, drone data processing, drones in disaster management and drones in agriculture.

The company further added that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) certified drone pilot training course will continue to be conducted exclusively at DroneAcharya’s training centres. Currently, DroneAcharya is the leading DGCA-certified training organisation in India. They have trained over 700 DGCA-certified drone pilots to date and achieved the position of being the first Private DGCA-certified drone training organisation in India to do so.

Speaking of the same, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, Prateek Srivastava, said, “This collaboration signifies a significant milestone in DroneAcharya’s commitment to bridging the gap between the growing demand and availability of certified and skilled personnel in the Indian Drone Industry.” He also added that the company aims to jointly build a group of 1,000 trained and certified drone-centric workforce in the first year itself.

Hadron Aviation Pvt. Ltd is a Pune-based aviation and education institute that offers Commercial Pilot license (CPL), EASA training, aircraft maintenance engineering, cabin crew training, airport ground staff training, airport management and aviation management courses. They are certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to offer these courses for aircraft. With their current collaboration with DroneAcharya, they will be entering into drone-centric training as well.

Apart from this partnership with Hardon Aviation, DroneAcharya has previously also partnered with IIT Ropar, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Rashtriya Raksha University and JAIN with the same objective.

On March 21, 2024, the share price of DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Ltd opened at ₹142.00, touching the day’s high at ₹144.10, as of 12:33 PM on the BSE.
