ECOS (India) Mobility & Hospitality Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2024.

The company’s Revenue from Operations reached ₹1,489 million for Q1 FY25, reflecting a year-on-year growth of nearly 14% compared to ₹1,306 million in Q1 FY24.

EBITDA, excluding other income, stood at ₹207 million for Q1 FY25, slightly down from ₹220 million in Q1 FY24. This resulted in an EBITDA Margin of 13.9%, a decrease of 30 basis points from 16.9% in the same quarter last year. The decline in margin was attributed primarily to investments in manpower and rising operational costs, which are essential for sustaining long-term growth.

Profit After Tax (PAT) remained relatively stable at ₹135 million for Q1 FY25, compared to ₹139 million in Q1 FY24.

Commenting on the financial performance for the quarter, Chairman and Managing Director of ECOS, Mr Rajesh Loomba, said, “I would like to thank all our stakeholders, including the entire ECOS team for their continued support and faith in us. I am happy to share that the Q1FY25 performance was in line with our expectations. Our revenue from operations grew 14% year on year in the first quarter. This is despite the one-time business that we carried out during the G20 convention in Q1FY24.”

He further added that ECOS has established itself as the largest chauffeur-driven mobility provider in India, serving over 1,100 corporate clients, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. With a pan-India presence in 109 cities and a fleet of over 12,000 vehicles ranging from economy cars to luxury coaches, ECOS is well-positioned to meet diverse customer needs.

Looking ahead, ECOS aims to focus on profitable growth by enhancing revenue from existing customers and acquiring new clients. The company plans to invest in its sales team, strengthen its brand presence, and expand into smaller towns and cities while diversifying its service offerings. Through these strategies, ECOS remains committed to driving sustainable long-term shareholder value, solidifying its leadership position in the mobility sector.

On September 25, 2024, the share price of ECOS (India) Mobility & Hospitality Ltd opened at ₹476.35, touching the day’s high at ₹491.70, as of 10:54 AM on the NSE.
