Eicher Motors’ Joint Venture Company VE Commercial Announced JV With iTriangle

On May 15, 2024, iTriangle Infotech, a leading provider of telematics solutions, and VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV), a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, solidified their collaboration by finalising agreements to establish a joint venture. This strategic partnership aims to revolutionise the fleet management landscape for the commercial vehicle industry in India and select export markets.

The joint venture will leverage iTriangle’s expertise in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge telematics hardware and software. This will be coupled with VECV’s deep understanding of the commercial vehicle sector and its vast experience in the Indian market. By combining these strengths, the partnership will focus on developing industry-leading telematics fleet management systems that cater to the evolving requirements of the people and logistics ecosystem.

This collaboration is expected to significantly enhance VECV’s already impressive “surround-service” portfolio for Eicher truck and bus customers. The new fleet management solutions will empower these businesses to optimise operations, improve efficiency, and gain valuable insights into their transportation activities. Ultimately, this joint venture has the potential to transform the way fleet management is conducted within the commercial vehicle industry.
