On 3 June 2024, GAIL India Limited launched the “Waah Kya Energy Hai” Campaign to promote clean and sustainable fuel choices. The company is known for its innovative campaigns to encourage people-driven efforts for environmental conservation. The new series campaign “Waah Kya Energy Hai” aims to highlight the accessibility and benefits of embracing new, clean, and environment-friendly fuel options like the Compressed Natural Gas and Piped Natural Gas offered by GAIL and its associated group companies.

About the campaign:

The “Waah Kya Energy Hai” campaign is strategically geared towards engaging consumers in India who consume Natural Gas. This new venture in Business-to-Consumer digital communication comprises of 4 short films in a mini-series format. These films portray stories of a close-knit middle-class Indian family and how they navigate their day-to-day challenges by adopting a smart choice for their fuel usage. The emotional delivery of the story of the Mishra family makes it more relatable to the audience and encourages them to think about a shift to clean fuel. The film shows how the family has switched to better fuel choices by adopting D-PNG (Domestic Pipe Natural Gas), C-PNG (Commercial Pipe Natural Gas), CNG, and Industrial PNG. These 4-5 minute content capsules will be promoted digitally through social media channels of GAIL, banners, and engagement across various platforms. With these ads, the company aims to highlight the advantages of using natural gas over other fuel choices and to persuade and motivate consumers by presenting natural gas as the smarter, safer, affordable, and futuristic choice, one that aligns with environmental consciousness and the evolving needs of society.

GAIL is India’s largest natural gas company with diversified interests across the natural gas value chain of trading, transmission, LPG production & transmission, LNG re-gasification, petrochemicals, city gas, E&P, etc. It owns and operates a network of over 16,200 km of natural gas pipelines spread across the country.
