Genesys International Corporation Ltd, a prominent player in geospatial solutions, has secured a substantial project worth ₹56 crore from the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS), West Bengal. This initiative aims to overhaul the state’s land records system using cutting-edge geospatial technology, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in land administration.

Modernising Land Records with Precision Technology

The modernisation project will leverage advanced tools such as high-resolution orthorectified images (ORI) and georeferenced cadastral maps. These technologies will improve precision mapping and provide an updated, clear view of land records, essential for administrative and public usage.

Stereo and mono satellite imagery will form the foundation of this project, enabling the creation of 3D terrain models and detailed mapping outputs. Such innovative applications will simplify urban planning, dispute resolution, and infrastructure development across the state.

Leadership Speaks on Transformation

Sajid Malik, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesys International, highlighted the project’s significance: “We are proud to partner with the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys to contribute to the modernisation of land records in West Bengal. Leveraging our expertise in geospatial technology, this project will bring precision, transparency, and efficiency to land management.”

Transformative Benefits for West Bengal

This project is expected to revolutionise land management in West Bengal by:

  1. Enhancing the accuracy and usability of cadastral maps.
  2. Simplifying dispute resolution through up-to-date records.
  3. Enabling better urban planning with geo-referenced data.

Genesys’s New India Map Stack will further support broader applications such as urban infrastructure development, mobility solutions, and location intelligence.

Share Price Reaction in a Fragile Market

In an otherwise fragile market, Genesys International’s share price jumped over 7% following this announcement.
