The $400 million US Kailash Group includes Genus Power Infrastructures Limited, an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified business, as a key component. For the term of the contract, as an AMISP participant, Genus is responsible for managing all meters and associated infrastructure following the operational go-live of the AMI system in any chosen utility. It also finances and manages the entire project as an AMISP participant, and the utility complies with the terms and conditions of the AMISP contract by paying Genus the service charge every month. As an AMISP, Genus will transfer ownership of the entire system, including all hardware, software, and any data collected during the project, to the utility at the end of the contract period to enable smooth utility businesses to operate.
