GPT Infraprojects Wins ₹26 Crore Contract from Transnet Freight Rail

Transnet Freight Rail, South Africa, has awarded the contract for supplying concrete sleepers manufactured at the Ladysmith factory. Valued at ₹26 crore, the order pertains to GPT Concrete Products South Africa (Pty) Limited, a subsidiary of GPT Infraprojects Limited.

There is no involvement or interest from the promoter, promoter group, or associated companies, ensuring the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction. A Recent Order From North Central Railway

In March 2024, GPT Infraprojects Limited secured a construction contract worth ₹135 crore in Uttar Pradesh. The company disclosed to stock exchanges that it had won this order from North Central Railway in Agra. GPT Infraprojects participates in a Joint Venture (JV) with a 51% share. It had undertaken various tasks, including earthwork in embankment and cutting, side drains, subways, toe walls, construction of minor bridges, P Way Track linking, transportation and stacking of P.way material, ballast supply and stacking, AT welding, and other associated works within North Central Railway’s jurisdiction in Agra.
