Greaves Electric Mobility to Begin Nexus Deliveries in June 2024

On June 5, 2024, Greaves Cotton Limited informed in a stock exchange filing that the company’s electric mobility segment, Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) will start the deliveries for the highly anticipated Nexus electric scooters, marking Ampere’s 16th anniversary. The deliveries will begin in Bangalore in the first week of June 2024.

Ampere’s first high-performance electric scooter, the Ampere Nexus, is designed, developed, and manufactured in India. This e-scooter features multiple innovations and leading specifications. Phased delivery will continue throughout June, ensuring prompt delivery to all booked customers. Ampere began bookings for the Nexus last month at ₹9,999, receiving an exceptional response from customers.

The Ampere Nexus is available in four unique colours, such as Indian Red, Zanskar Aqua, Steel Grey and Lunar White. This vibrant palette provides riders with a range of options to match their personal style. Combining high-performance with family-oriented features, the Nexus redefines the electric scooter experience, delivering unmatched comfort, style, performance, intelligence, and safety. Ampere Nexus comes in two variants, i.e., Nexus EX and Nexus ST.

Earlier this year, the Ampere Nexus made a historic journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, setting four remarkable records recognised by the India Book of Records. This expedition covered over 10,000 kilometres, marking it the longest electric scooter ride in a single journey. Additionally, the journey set a record by visiting 115 cities and towns in one continuous ride.
