HCLSoftware to Bolster Data & Analytics Capabilities With Acquisition of Zeenea

HCLSoftware, the software division of HCLTech, has announced its plans to acquire Zeenea, a leading provider of data catalogue and governance solutions headquartered in Paris, France. This strategic move aims to strengthen HCLSoftware’s Data and analytics business, Actian, which has witnessed significant growth in Hybrid Data Management and Integration. By incorporating Zeenea’s expertise in metadata management, data catalogue, and governance, HCLSoftware will empower customers to fully leverage the capabilities of its data platform.

Zeenea offers an intelligent data discovery platform that encompasses metadata management applications ranging from search and exploration to data catalogue, lineage, governance, compliance, and enterprise data marketplaces. The platform’s adaptive knowledge graph enables organisations to democratise data access and develop a comprehensive 360-degree view of their assets and their interrelationships.

The acquisition of Zeenea is expected to be finalised in September 2024, marking a significant milestone in HCLSoftware’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative data management and analytics solutions to its customers.
