United Breweries Launches Heineken® Silver and Original in Karnataka

United Breweries Limited (UBL), part of the HEINEKEN Company, has announced the launch of Heineken® Silver in Karnataka. Heineken® Original will also be available this month.

The company stated that launching these two iconic beer variants across bars and retail stores represents a significant milestone in Heineken’s expansion in India, aligning with the company’s strategy to enhance consumer experiences through premiumisation. Additionally, UBL revealed that the Heineken® brand will now be brewed locally in Mysuru, Karnataka, adhering to the global Heineken® quality standards.

They added that in recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in consumer preferences toward international premium mild beers, driven by a growing demand for unique and high-quality beer experiences. Heineken®, with its unmatched global reputation and commitment to quality, is perfectly positioned to satisfy this demand in Karnataka, catering to consumers who appreciate a crisp, refreshing lager with a smooth finish.

Heineken® beer is crafted using only 3 natural ingredients: 100% pure imported malt, water, and hops. Consistent with every Heineken® worldwide, it is brewed with a special A-yeast, discovered in the 19th century, which imparts the beer’s slightly fruity, refreshing, and balanced taste. The beer is fermented using horizontal brewing, which provides the optimal pressure for the A-yeast and allows for a longer brewing time to achieve the perfect taste. This meticulous process ensures that Heineken® maintains its dedication to quality and premium ingredients.
