Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has introduced the new VIDA V2 series of electric scooters in India. This range targets customers seeking eco-friendly and efficient transportation options.

Pricing and Variants

The VIDA V2 is available in three variants:

• V2 Lite: ₹96,000
• V2 Plus: ₹1,15,000
• V2 Pro: ₹1,35,000

Prices are applicable in Delhi and include current subsidies.

Stylish Design and New Colors

The VIDA V2 sports a sleek, modern design with a bold aesthetic. 2 new colour options—Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red—further enhance its appeal.

Advanced Powertrain and Battery Options

The VIDA V2 is powered by an advanced powertrain with removable battery packs available in three configurations:

• 3.94 kWh for V2 Pro
• 3.44 kWh for V2 Plus
• 2.2 kWh for V2 Lite

The batteries are IP-67 certified for durability and can be charged at home, reaching 80% charge in under 6 hours. A Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivers a peak power of 6 kW and torque of 25 Nm. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 90 km/h.

Hero MotoCorp has established a robust charging network, with over 3,100 fast-charging points across 250 cities in India. Customers also get access to home charging solutions.

The VIDA V2 comes with:

• A five-year or 50,000 km warranty for the scooter
• A three-year or 30,000 km warranty for the battery
