H.G. Infra Engineering Limited (HGINFRA) has announced in a stock exchange filing that the company has been declared the Lowest-1 (L-1) bidder by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for a significant road infrastructure project in Gujarat.

The company stated that the project involves the upgradation of an existing 6-lane road, including the construction of an elevated corridor, spanning from km 0/00 to km 10/170 on NH 47, covering the stretch from Narol Junction to Sarkhej Junction. The project will be executed on a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a public-private partnership model designed to optimise the balance of risk and reward between the government and the contractor.

MoRTH has estimated the project cost at ₹883.24 crore. However, HGINFRA has placed a competitive bid at ₹781.11 crore, showcasing its commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure at a more cost-effective rate. The project covers a total length of 10.63 kilometres and is expected to be completed within a construction period of 2.5 years.

This project aligns with HGINFRA’s expertise in executing large-scale infrastructure projects and demonstrates its continued leadership in the road construction sector. The company’s ability to secure this contract underlines its reputation for efficient project management and cost control. As HGINFRA prepares to embark on this project, it reinforces its dedication to contributing to the development of critical road infrastructure in India, particularly in enhancing connectivity in the state of Gujarat.

In Q1 FY 2025, the company’s revenue from operations stood at ₹15,280.39 million, with a 13.1% increase from the same period in FY 2024. The profit after tax was ₹1,625.65 million in Q1 FY 2025, up by 8.1%, compared to ₹1,503.85 million in Q1 FY 2024.
