The Activa E will debut in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai in Spring 2025, supported by Honda’s e:Swap battery sharing service, which allows users to exchange drained batteries for fully charged ones.
The QC1 is designed for short commutes, such as school runs, and focuses on affordability. It features a 1.5 kWh fixed battery that can be charged at home.
Key highlights include:
Honda has emphasised that these models are tailored for the Indian market, factoring in local preferences and needs. The Honda e:Swap service is already operational in Bengaluru and Delhi, with a Mumbai launch planned in 2025.
The Activa E and QC1 are part of Honda’s larger plan to introduce 30 electric two-wheeler models globally by 2030, showcasing the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation.
