Brigade & Accor Unveil ibis Styles Mysuru: Modern Design Meets Cultural Charm

On August 17, 2024, Brigade Group, a well-known property developer in India, teamed up with global hospitality company Accor to launch the Ibis Styles Mysuru on KRS Road. This is the fourth hotel they’ve opened together and their second in Mysuru, following the Grand Mercure Mysuru.

Ibis Styles Mysuru aims to offer a unique hospitality experience by blending modern design with cultural touches. The hotel’s interiors are inspired by the colourful birds of Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, creating a warm and inviting space for guests. With 130 thoughtfully designed rooms, ibis Styles Mysuru provides comfortable lodging for different types of travellers. The 30 suites have kitchenettes, private balconies, large living spaces, and family-friendly rooms. Additionally, the hotel includes a special play area for children.

At the inauguration, M R Jaishankar, Executive Chairman, Brigade Enterprises Limited, said, “Mysuru is a key leisure destination in Karnataka. It is a popular tourist getaway and a resting point for those travelling to the Western Ghats. The number of tourists coming into Mysuru has significantly increased in the last three years, post-COVID-19. Ibis Styles Mysuru is a blend of contemporary design and the traditional essence of Mysuru. We aim to redefine the hospitality experience for guests. This will be Brigade Group’s 27th project in Mysore and its 9th hotel across India in partnership with global hospitality brands.”
