On February 03, 2025, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) share price traded 3.86% lower at ₹120.65 at 9:51 AM (IST) to hit a fresh 52-week low. IOCL’s share price reached a 52-week high of ₹196.80 on February 08, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹120.55 on February 03, 2025. As per BSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 3.55 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹4.33 crore.

At the current price, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 16.17x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹7.46, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 0.98, according to exchange data.

Shareholding Details

As of December 31, 2024, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) promoters held 51.50% of the shares, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) owned 7.43%, and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) held 10.08%.

Indian Oil Corporation Q3 FY25 Results

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a public-sector undertaking, reported a decline in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), posting ₹2,115 crore compared to ₹9,029.56 crore in the same period last year.

The sharp decline in profits was attributed to lower refining margins and rising expenses during the quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations saw a marginal drop to ₹2,15,522 crore, down from ₹2,26,892 crore in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, expenses for the refinery remained nearly flat year-on-year at ₹2.19 trillion, compared to ₹2.17 trillion in the previous fiscal. However, on a sequential basis, expenses increased from ₹2.02 trillion in the preceding quarter.
