Indri’s ‘City Series’ Debuts with Exclusive Bengaluru Edition at Duty-Free

On October 7, 2024, Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the creators of India’s highly awarded Indri single malt whisky, announced the launch of its first travel retail exclusive series, the ‘City Series.’ The debut release is an Oloroso-Sherry cask single malt, crafted exclusively for Bengaluru Duty-Free.

This is the first in a special series of single-cask whiskies, each inspired by a different Indian city, available only at select duty-free outlets in India and worldwide. The Bengaluru edition captures the city’s unique spirit, blending its modern vibe with rich traditions. The whisky’s bottle design features famous Bengaluru landmarks, offering travellers a distinctive taste of the city known as India’s Silicon Valley.

With this launch, Bengaluru Duty-Free enhances the travel retail experience by giving travellers more than just a product—it offers a true taste of Bengaluru’s vibrant spirit.

Bottled at 58.5% ABV, this Oloroso-Sherry single-cask whisky combines tradition and innovation, delivering a rich and complex taste. Its aroma features sweet caramel, fresh red fruits, and mild spices, with nutty and earthy notes. On the palate, the whisky is warm and balanced, with flavours of red berries, toffee, vanilla, and soft spices. The smooth finish lingers with hints of sweet vanilla, spice, and fruity undertones.

Each release in the ‘City Series’ will honour the unique culture and character of different cities across India. These exclusive expressions will be available at select duty-free outlets, offering travellers a flavorful journey through India’s diverse cities.
