On Wednesday, December 18, Inox Wind announced that it received a significant order from Serentica Renewables to supply wind turbines for a 60 MW project. The order includes Inox Wind’s advanced 3 MW class turbines, which are set to be delivered in the first half of 2025. These turbines will be installed at a hybrid renewable energy project being developed by Serentica Renewables in Karnataka.

In addition to manufacturing and delivering the wind turbines, Inox Wind will provide long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services after the turbines are commissioned, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency over their lifecycle.

The energy generated from this project will be supplied to Serentica Renewables’ partners, including the Vedanta Group, a prominent player in India’s industrial sector.

Speaking about the development, Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind Ltd, highlighted the growing role of wind energy in India’s green energy transition. “As India’s commercial and industrial players accelerate their transition to green energy, we believe our tailored products and solutions for the wind projects will be one of the important catalysts driving this move,” he said.
