IRB Infrastructures Developers Ltd. is an infrastructure development and construction company. It has extensive experience in the roads and highway sector. It also has its business segments in the infrastructure sector, including maintenance of roads, construction, airport development and real estate. With a total of 36 highway projects in its account, it is India’s largest road BOT operator. The company has 4 business verticals- 1. Wholly-owned subsidiaries- 2 Tolling Projects and 3 under construction projects, 2- Private InvIT, 3-Public InvIT, 4- EPC business Rs.411 Crores in May 2023.

Toll collection division

IRB Infrastructure Developers recorded a 30%YoY increase in toll collection in the month of May, 2024. The toll collection details from various projects are as follows:

  2. IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway Pvt. Limited (Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway NE1 and Highway NH48) – Rs.645 Million
  3. CG Tollway Limited (Chittorgarh to Gulabpura NH79) – Rs. 314 Million
  4. Udaipur Tollway Limited (Udaipur to Shamlaji NH48) – Rs. 272 Million
  5. Palsit Dankuni Tollway Private Limited (Palsit to Dankuni NH19) – Rs. 145 Million
  6. AE Tollway Limited (Agra to Etawah NH19) – Rs. 206 Million
  7. Yedeshi Aurangabad Tollway Limited (Yedeshi to Aurangabad NH211) – Rs. 184 Million
  8. IRB Hapur Moradabad Tollway Limited (Hapur to Moradabad NH 9) – Rs. 260 Million
  9. Kaithal Tollway Limited (Kaithal to Rajasthan Border NH152/65) – Rs.112 Million
  10. Kishangarh Gulabpura Tollway Limited (Kishangarh to Gulabpura NH79A & NH79) – Rs. 199 Million
  11. IRB Westcoast Tollway Limited (Karwar to Kundapura NH66) – Rs. 131 Million
  12. Solapur Yedeshi Tollway Limited (Solapur to Yedeshi NH211) – Rs. 99 Million
  13. IRB Golconda Expressway Private Limited (Hyderabad Outer Roing Road) – Rs. 627 Million
  14. Samakhiyali Tollway Private Limited (Samakhiyali to Santalpur NH27) – Rs. 121 Million
  15. IRB Lalitpur Tollway Private Limited (Lalitpur Lakhnadon NH44 – TOT 12) – Rs. 355 Million
  16. IRB Kota Tollway Private Limited (Kota Bypass – TOT 13) – Rs. 61 Million
  17. IRB Gwalior Tollway Private Limited (Jhansi Gwalior NH44 – TOT 13) – Rs. 98 Million

Impact on financials

The toll collection of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. and IRB Infrastructure Trust is Rs. 536 Crs This surge in toll collection led to a net profit of Rs. 130.2 Crore. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 27.2% in the first quarter of FY25. Shares of IRB ended at Rs. 70.30, up by 4.46% on the BSE. As the largest integrated private toll roads and highways infrastructure developers in India, IRB has an asset base of approx. Rs.80,000 Crores in 12 states.
