ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Limited), India’s leading online travel aggregator (OTA) announced a significant expansion of its partnership with PhonePe, India’s leading digital payments platform. This enhanced collaboration brings a wider range of travel booking options to PhonePe’s massive user base.

The ixigo-PhonePe partnership focused on train bookings. Now, PhonePe users can seamlessly access, and book flights and buses directly within the PhonePe app. ixigo will power these new travel booking features, leveraging its expertise in each domain:

• AbhiBus: Offering a comprehensive platform for bus ticket bookings.
• ConfirmTkt: Building upon the existing partnership for train booking convenience.

This strategic expansion empowers over 54 crore (540 million) PhonePe users with a one-stop shop for travel booking needs. They can now conveniently book flights, trains, and buses within the familiar PhonePe app, eliminating the need to switch between platforms. Additionally, the partnership ensures a smooth payment process, leveraging PhonePe’s robust payment infrastructure.

The collaboration extends beyond simplified booking. PhonePe users can also benefit from ixigo’s value-added services, including:

• ixigo Assured (Free Cancellation): Book flights, trains, and buses with the peace of mind of free cancellation.
• ixigo Assured Flex: Enjoy the flexibility to reschedule travel plans without penalty.
