Lemon Tree Hotels Announces New Hotel in Karnataka; Share Price Dips 1.46%

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a new property, Lemon Tree Hotel in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. 

Managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, the hotel is set to open in FY 2027. 

This development is in Kalaburagi, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance in northern Karnataka. The city’s attractions, including the Gulbarga Fort and Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah, draw visitors from across the country. Kalaburagi is also home to other religious landmarks like the Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, dedicated to the Lingayat saint and philosopher, and the Buddha Vihara, a Buddhist temple known for its unique architectural features.

Lemon Tree Hotel in Kalaburagi will offer 72 well-appointed rooms and a range of modern amenities, including a restaurant, bar, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa. The property is conveniently located approximately 14 kilometres from Kalaburagi Airport and 6 kilometres from the Kalaburagi Railway Station, with easy access by road.

Kalaburagi’s blend of Kannada and Urdu culture, its picturesque landscapes, and thriving educational institutions make it an attractive destination for both tourists and business travellers. Lemon Tree Hotels aims to enhance the city’s hospitality offerings with this upcoming property, further cementing its presence in Karnataka. This new hotel is expected to cater to both domestic and international travellers seeking comfort, convenience, and a cultural experience in Kalaburagi.

On October 22, 2024, Lemon Tree Hotels share price opened at ₹121.50, slightly up from its previous close of ₹120.59. However, at 9:41 AM, the share price of Lemon Tree Hotels was trading at ₹118.83, down by 1.46%.
