On August 26, 2024, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited announced the signing of its latest property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Civil Lines, Ayodhya, which is set to open in FY 2028. This new addition will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The hotel’s location in Ayodhya, a city renowned for its deep spiritual and historical significance, positions it strategically in one of India’s most revered destinations.

Ayodhya, located in Uttar Pradesh, India, is known for its divine heritage as the birthplace of Lord Ram, a key figure in Hindu mythology. The city’s rich history and sacred sites make it a major pilgrimage and tourism hub, attracting visitors who seek a deeper connection to India’s cultural and spiritual roots.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Civil Lines, Ayodhya will offer a range of amenities designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers. The property will feature 80 well-appointed rooms, providing comfort and modern conveniences to guests. Additional facilities will include a restaurant serving diverse cuisine, a rooftop lounge bar with panoramic views, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and versatile banquet halls for events and gatherings.

The hotel is conveniently located with the Maharshi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham just 5.6 kilometers away and the Ayodhya railway station 7.3 kilometers from the property. It is well connected by road, ensuring easy access for visitors using public and private transport. The company stated that this opening will be in addition to their 7 existing and 6 upcoming hotels in the state.

On August 27, 2024, the share price of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd opened at ₹134.99, touching the day’s high at ₹135.40, as of 10:00 AM on the NSE.
