Low Price Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit Today, 7 July, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 72 points or 0.12% at 65,714 and the Nifty-50 down around 23 points or 0.11% at 19,476. About 1,776 shares have advanced, 1,339 declined, and 153 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Titan India Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 1.40%, led by Titan India Ltd and Blue Star Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index was down 0.36% dragged down by IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.   

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.05% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.25%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Indraprastha Gas Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Windlas Biotech Ltd and Sunteck Realty Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Subros Ltd, IOX Exchange (India) Ltd and Praj Industries Ltd.
