On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading high with Sensex up around 135 points or 0.22% at 62,761 and the Nifty trading up by 42 points or 0.23% at 18,606. About 2,206 shares have advanced, 1,282 declined, and 161 are unchanged on the BSE.

The top Sensex gainers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were IndusInd Bank, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Titan (India) Ltd.

The BSE Information Technology Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE IT Index soared 1.32%, led by Datamatics Global Services Ltd and Onnward Technologies Ltd while the BSE Capital Goods Index was down 0.42% dragged down by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and Schaeffler India Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.36% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.62%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Delhivery Ltd and Rec Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were PTC Industries Ltd and IFB Agro Industries Ltd.
