On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading high with Sensex up around 378 points or 0.60% at 63,102 and the Nifty trading up by 109 points or 0.58% at 18,710. About 2,208 shares have advanced, 1,189 declined, and 163 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Titan India Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were State Bank of India, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Consumer Durables being the top gainers. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.68%, led by Tata Communications Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd and the BSE Consumer Durables Index was up 1.50% led by Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd and Sheela Foam Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.80% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.61%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Communications Ltd and Trent Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd and Ahluwalia Contractors (India) Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, the top three trending stocks were, JBM Auto Ltd, MRF Ltd and Olectra Greentech Ltd.
