Watch out for these low-priced stocks that were locked in the upper circuit today!

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in green with Sensex up around 279 points or 0.44% at 63,197 and the Nifty trading up by 78 points or 0.42% at 18,766. About 2,198 shares have advanced, 1,060 declined, and 142 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were HCL Technologies, Bajaj FinServ and HDFC Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India and Wipro Ltd. 

The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE IT Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index soared 0.80%, led by AIA Engineering Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 0.15% dragged down by Infosys Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services and Sonata Software Ltd. 

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.59% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.82%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Rajesh Exports Ltd and Emami Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Wockhardt Ltd and Shalby Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd, Meghmani Finechem Ltd and Mazagaon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd.
