L&T Technology and IIT Hyderabad Partenered to Advance Automotive Safety and Connectivity

L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a leading engineering services company, and the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), a premier academic institution, have announced a groundbreaking collaboration. This partnership aims to propel advancements in the automotive industry by focusing on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (CV2X) communication technologies.

Objective of Partnership

• Enhance ADAS Capabilities: The project will explore the development of advanced features like collision avoidance, lane departure warning, pedestrian detection, and adaptive cruise control. Integrating AI algorithms and sensor technologies will improve real-time hazard recognition and response capabilities.
• Revolutionise Connected Vehicles: Research will focus on developing robust communication frameworks for CV2X technology. This will enable vehicles to communicate with each other seamlessly and with the surrounding infrastructure, paving the way for a more connected and intelligent transportation system.
