It is designed to strengthen engineering support for Airbus aircraft structural simulation activities across its various business units in Europe, including Germany, France, Spain and the UK.

The Simulation CoE has the latest simulation software, high-performance computational machinery and hardware. It aims to unify and standardise processes across all Airbus European business units and aircraft programs. The key objective is to improve productivity and efficiency, ensuring the timely achievement of program milestones.

The Centre of Excellence was started about 18 months ago with a specialised core team, and since then, it has shown considerable growth and development. Commenting on this important development, the President of Sales and Executive Director at L&T Technology Services, Alind Saxena, said, “The establishment of the Simulation CoE for Airbus reflects our deep-seated commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation alongside Airbus. This Centre is not just about technology; it’s about creating a standardised, efficient framework that propels Airbus’ industry-leading aircraft into the future.
