On June 24, 2024, Marico, a prominent FMCG company in India, unveiled Saffola Muesli with Flavour Pops, seeking to capitalise on its established reputation in the adult breakfast market.

Over the years, Saffola has become a top player in breakfast foods in India. It’s known for being the country’s leading brand in oats and has expanded into products like peanut butter and honey.

Innovative Flavour Options

Saffola keeps innovating to meet changing consumer preferences, making nutritious meals more appealing. Continuing this legacy, the brand is introducing crunchy muesli in three new flavours: Kesar Crunch, Berry Crunch, and Choco Crunch, aiming to energise the category with exciting options.

Saffola introduced a new range of Muesli inspired by popular milk flavours like aromatic saffron, fruity berries, and indulgent chocolate. These varieties are crafted to enhance breakfast with a delightful crunch and burst of flavour, thanks to unique flavour pops. Made from a natural blend of multigrain and millet, Saffola Muesli remains irresistibly crunchy to the last bite. Each flavour is designed to please the palate, enriched with 15 different fruits, nuts, seeds, millet, and other nutritious ingredients, making it a powerhouse of nutrition.

Vaibhav Bhanchawat, Chief Operating Officer for India and the Foods Business at Marico Ltd, commented on the launch of the new products, stating, “Our foray into the Muesli Category marks a significant milestone in line with our brand proposition of offering consumers “better for you” products with a “taste first” approach. He further added, “We identified the opportunity to bring excitement and familiarity to a new-age category like Muesli, much like our success in making oats exciting through Saffola Masala Oats. The idea was to deliver consumer delight through our unique flavour pops format, giving a burst of flavour and an irresistibly crunchy experience. We believe these popular flavours launched under Saffola Muesli with Crunch Flavour Pops will help consumers “brighten up their mornings to take on the day.”
