Nazara Technologies and Telangana Government to Launch AI Center of Excellence

On September 5, 2024, Nazara Technologies Limited announced a significant partnership with the Government of Telangana through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This collaboration will lead to the establishment of a groundbreaking AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) in Telangana, marking a major milestone in the gaming and digital entertainment sectors. The AI CoE will focus on advancing research, development, and innovation across gaming, interactive media, gamified learning, and other digital content areas, utilising cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), blockchain, and Web 3.0.

The initiative aims to position Nazara as a leader in AI-driven digital entertainment while transforming Telangana into a global hub for AI innovation. The centre will support policy development, nurture startups, enhance skills, and attract global expertise, fostering a vibrant and inclusive tech community.
