NBCC (India) Ltd., a leading government-owned construction company, has secured multiple projects worth ₹9,445 crore across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Karnataka. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has appointed NBCC as the Project Management Consultant for completing 16 stalled projects of Supertech Ltd.
NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, is a prominent player in the infrastructure sector. The company operates across three core business segments: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC), and Real Estate, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions nationwide.
The 16 Supertech projects involve the completion of 49,748 housing units spread across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Karnataka. These projects, valued at ₹9,445 crore, include a 3% contingency provision. NBCC will oversee the construction as the Project Management Consultant, earning an 8% fee, which includes a 1% marketing fee. This initiative reflects NBCC’s capability to revive delayed or stalled projects, address housing challenges, and contribute to regional development.
In addition to the Supertech projects, NBCC has recently received an order worth ₹432 crore from the Central University of Odisha. The project involves creating a net-zero sustainable campus in Sunabeda. NBCC’s role includes providing comprehensive project management consultancy services, demonstrating the company’s commitment to eco-friendly and innovative infrastructure solutions.
As of December 13, 2024, 11:41 AM the shares of NBCC are trading at ₹98.67 per share with a decline of 2% from its previous day’s closing price.
