NBCC has been awarded a ₹405.08 crore work order for various construction projects. With this, the company’s consolidated order book now surpasses ₹1 lakh crore, marking a significant achievement, the company said in a press release on the stock exchanges.
These projects include planning, designing, and executing the construction of a ‘Centre for Advanced Studies’ for Hindu College, University of Delhi, with an approximate value of ₹151.93 crore.
Additionally, NBCC will undertake the planning, designing, and construction of development work for Fakir Mohan University (Vyasa Vihar) in Balasore, valued at ₹118.64 crore, and for Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in Baripada, Mayurbhanj, valued at ₹84.75 crore.
The company is also responsible for the planning, designing, and execution of an office building (Headquarter Building) at Uttar Pradesh Rajya Nirman Evam Sharam Vikash Sahakari Sangh Ltd in Lucknow, valued at ₹37.90 crore.
Moreover, NBCC has been awarded project management consultancy services for the upgradation of WRPC staff quarters at Andheri West, Mumbai, valued at ₹11.86 crore.
With these awards, NBCC has reached a monumental milestone, surpassing an order book of ₹1,00,000 crore on a consolidated basis. This achievement further solidifies the company’s position in the industry, the company said in a press release on the stock exchange.
NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, was established in 1960 as a Government of India Civil Engineering Enterprise. The company specialises in three core areas: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), and Real Estate Development.
NBCC has built an impressive portfolio, including government redevelopment projects and urban infrastructure initiatives. The company’s PMC segment covers large-scale redevelopment and infrastructure projects, while its EPC division focuses on specialised construction, particularly in the power sector. In real estate, NBCC develops residential and commercial properties catering to both governmental and public needs.
NBCC’s share price traded 2.29% lower at ₹86.04 at 2:20 PM on the NSE. The stock opened at ₹85.70 up from its previous close of ₹84.11.
