On November 4, 2024, NCC share price was in the spotlight. The share price of NCC opened at ₹317.70, a slight rise from its previous close of ₹312.60. However, at 11:11 AM, the share price had decreased to ₹309.15, reflecting a dip of 1.10%.  

Significant Orders 

Recently on November 1, 2024, NCC Limited announced a significant achievement in October 2024, having received orders valued at ₹3,496 crores (excluding GST).

The breakdown of these orders highlights NCC’s diverse capabilities: ₹2,684 crores are earmarked for the Building Division, reflecting a robust demand for construction services. Additionally, ₹538 crores are allocated to the Electrical Division, while ₹274 crores pertain to the Water and Other Divisions. 

These contracts have been awarded by various state and central government agencies, along with private limited companies, reinforcing NCC’s reputation as a reliable contractor within the industry. It is noteworthy that these figures do not include any internal orders.

Earlier in October, the company announced that it had received orders worth ₹2,327 crore (excluding GST) in the month of September 2024. Out of these orders, ₹1,417 crore is related to the transportation division, ₹520 crore is related to the electrical division and ₹390 crore is related to the building division. These orders are received from State Government Agencies and Private Limited companies and do not include any internal order. 

Upcoming Financial Results

NCC announced that it has scheduled a meeting for November 7, 2024, to review and approve its unaudited financial results for the second quarter and the half-year ending September 30, 2024. This will provide insights into the company’s performance amidst its growing order book.

Previous Quarter Highlights

In the previous quarter (Q1 FY25), NCC reported a total income of ₹4,747.36 crores, which marked a substantial increase from ₹3,865.95 crores in the same period last year. The company also achieved a net profit of ₹200.74 crores, up from ₹162.26 crores in Q1 FY24, showcasing its robust financial health and operational efficiency.
