Netweb Launches Advanced Make-in-India Servers for Data Centers and AI Systems

On June 18, 2024, Netweb Technologies India Limited introduced its latest series of servers made in India. These servers feature the newest 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ processors and come in different sizes, such as 1U, 2U, and 4U, as well as workstations. They are designed to handle demanding tasks in high-performance computing environments. Users have flexibility in configuring these systems with various options for I/O expansion and storage support. This launch supports India’s Make in India initiative, promoting local innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Features and Specifications

The new server models support dual AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors, offering up to 256 cores and exceptional computational performance across a wide range of intensive workloads. They can handle large datasets and complex applications effectively and accommodate up to 6TB of memory. These servers are particularly suited for AI/ML environments, featuring advanced features such as support for up to 6TB of DDR5-4800MHz memory in 12/24 DIMM slots, integrated IPMI 2.0 + KVM with dedicated LAN, and extensive storage options including HDDs, SSDs, and NVMe. Additionally, they provide flexibility with up to 10 PCIe slots for additional components and GPUs as needed.

These servers enable the creation of systems for different needs, from data centre computing and high-performance computing to AI workstations and AI cloud solutions with machine learning operations (MLOps). They also support various storage solutions, including high-performance and high-capacity options tailored to specific workload demands.
