Sensex closed with a marginal decrease of 0.04%, while Nifty closed slightly higher by 0.04%. Nifty Midcap recorded a gain of 0.39%, while Nifty Smallcap declined by 0.11%. 

Among the top gainers were Nifty Metal, Nifty Media, and Nifty Energy, while Nifty FMCG, Nifty Realty, and Nifty PSU Bank were among the top losers. Hindalco, JSW Steel, and Tata Steel were among the top gainers from Nifty 50, whereas Asian Paints, ITC, and L&T faced losses.

MSP Steel & Power: MSP Steel & Power Limited witnessed a robust breakout in both price and volume, leading to a 20% rally and hitting an intraday high of Rs 10.50 per share on the NSE. This surge in price was supported by a substantial increase in trading volume. MSP Steel & Power Limited is primarily involved in manufacturing and selling iron and steel products, as well as power generation. 

Lasa Supergenerics: Lasa Supergenerics Limited witnessed a significant surge in its stock price, reaching the upper circuit level of 20% at Rs 26.10 on the NSE. This remarkable price increase was accompanied by a noticeable rise in trading volume. Lasa Supergenerics Limited specialises in manufacturing veterinary and human Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), and animal feed ingredients, and is known for its expertise in catalyst chemistry. 

S.A.L Steel: S.A.L Steel Ltd experienced a substantial surge in its stock price, leading to a 20% upper circuit lock, indicating a strong breakout in both price and volume. The stock reached an impressive intraday high of Rs 18.45 per share on the NSE, and this notable price surge was supported by a significant rise in trading volume. S.A.L Steel Ltd is primarily involved in the manufacturing of sponge iron and ferroalloys used in the iron and steel industry. Additionally, the company boasts a power generation capacity of 40 MW.
