Power Mech Project Receives Contract From Vedanta’s Subsidiary

Hyderabad-based engineering and construction company, Power Mech Projects Limited (PMPL), has recently secured a significant contract worth Rs 865 crore. The contract entails the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 3X660 MW supercritical thermal power plant, owned by Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited. The project is located in Banawala village, Mansa District, Punjab. This contract adds to PMPL’s already impressive order book, which stood at Rs 57,085 crore as of June 30, 2024, including MDO projects.

The contract will span five years starting from November 1, 2024, strengthening PMPL’s position in the power and infrastructure sectors. The company continues to expand its operations both domestically and internationally, with a diverse portfolio covering sectors like railways, mining, and steel.
