In a strategic move to meet the increasing demand for high-quality, value-added packaging solutions, Prakash Pipes Ltd, a leading player in piping solutions, has successfully commissioned its new Nordmeccanica Supercombi 5000 laminator. This state-of-the-art machine is a significant addition to the company’s packaging division, enabling it to offer a wider range of products, including HSL coatings, water-based adhesive laminations, in-register cold seal adhesives, and foil-to-foil laminations.

The Supercombi 5000 is a versatile multi-process laminator capable of handling complex packaging structures with exceptional efficiency. Its advanced technological features ensure superior quality and productivity, allowing Prakash Pipes to enhance its capacities and deliver value-added products to its customers.

Financial Highlights

During the quarter ended June 30, 2024, the Company achieved Net Sales of ~₹205 crore and Operating Profit of ~₹33 crore, reflecting growth of 17% and 42% respectively over the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Profit after Tax for the quarter also rose to ~₹25 crore, registering a growth of 38% over the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

The PVC Pipes & Fittings Division has achieved a sales volume of 12,704 MT, registering a growth of 10% over the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. Demand from the housing, infrastructure, and irrigation sectors is growing, and good rainfall in most parts of the country also augurs well for the industry.
