On June 13, 2024, the Nifty 50 rose 0.33% and closed at 23,398, and the Sensex grew 0.27%, closing at 76,810.

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Realty, Nifty Consumer Durables, Nifty IT, and Nifty Mid small healthcare ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Media, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Private Bank, and Nifty Bank fell. The top gainers were Cholamandalam and Finance, Shriram Finance, Siemens, and HAL, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Marico, Dabur, Hindustan Unilever, and Adani Green were the top losers of the day.

Paytm and Larsen and Toubro were in the news on June 13, 2024.

Samsung and Paytm partnered to bring travel and entertainment services to Samsung Wallet in India. As a result, Paytm shares rose 7.5%.
Larsen and Toubro received orders worth ₹2,500 to ₹5,000 crore from ONGC. After this news, the shares of Larsen and Toubro grew 2%.
