PVR INOX Launches 7-Screen Multiplex in KOPA Mall, Pune

On May 8, 2024, PVR INOX Ltd informed the stock exchanges that they had opened a 7-screen multiplex in KOPA Mall, Pune. The cinema introduces the nation’s premier luxury cinema experiences, Director’s Cut and the immersive ICE Theatres®, making their debut in the West Region.

This cinema boasts 5 Director’s Cut auditoriums, part of PVR INOX’s ‘The Luxury Collection’, renowned nationwide for its upscale and immersive movie experiences. Additionally, it features ICE Theatres® and a Premiere Auditorium, blending modern luxury with cutting-edge cinema tech like 4K Laser projection, Dolby Atmos sound, and Next Generation 3D. Adjacent is the Gatsby resto-bar, offering premium dining fused with a lavish cinematic experience. Surrounding the theatre are top-notch culinary options, including The Popcorn Bar for flavoured popcorn, La Cuisine serving continental cuisines, and Simply Sushi for authentic sushi.

The new cinema accommodates 751 guests and serves a high-end catchment area in Pune. It will augment PVR INOX’s foothold in Maharashtra with 277 screens in 55 cinemas. The company consolidates its presence in West India to a total of 367 screens in 79 cinemas.
