RailTel Corporation of India, a telecom infrastructure provider, has been awarded a work order by Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Taluka-Rahuri, for setting up virtual classrooms, digital classrooms, and other necessary equipment.
The contract is valued at ₹11.11 crore and is expected to be executed by February 2025.The project will enhance the educational infrastructure at the Central Campus of MPKV Rahuri.
The company stated in a press release on the exchanges that the order falls under domestic contracts and that no interest from promoters or group companies is involved in the awarding entity
Additionally, the order does not qualify as a related party transaction and is conducted at arm’s length.
Earlier this month, RailTel Corporation of India, a prominent telecom infrastructure provider, secured a ₹10.64 crore contract from GAIL (India) Limited.
The agreement includes the provision of MPLS and point-to-point leased line links for several GAIL locations. The project is expected to be completed by February 11, 2025.
On December 11, 2024, RailTel Corporation of India’s share price was trading 3.36% higher at ₹449.75 at 12:30 PM on NSE. The stock opened at ₹435.35, slightly higher than its previous close of ₹435.15.
