New Segment Solutions

Railways

RIR has successfully developed the OSD 595 (3600V) and OSD 550 (4300V) devices for Diesel and Electric Locomotives. These devices have been approved by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), making RIR a top-tier supplier for Indian Railways. RIR successfully developed 77mm, 100mm, and 125mm devices (both SCR and Diode) with voltages up to 5000V.

Defence

RIR successfully manufactured and assembled an Electro Magnetic Rail Gun (EM Rail Gun) using a 125mm device. RIR successfully secured a project for an Electro Magnetic Launching System using a 100mm SCR.

Energy

RIR successfully manufactured, tested, and completed a Rectifier system using a 77mm SCR for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India. The company also designed, manufactured, and supplied a 24-pulse DC Rectifier using 77 mm and 100 mm devices for electrolysis applications, such as hydrogenation and electro-chlorination, for various power plants and oil refineries.

Mining

RIR successfully completed the electrification of dumpers for a coal mine using a 100mm Diode.

Oil and Gas

RIR successfully designed, manufactured, and supplied a 24-pulse DC Rectifier for electrolysis applications, such as hydrogenation and electro-chlorination, for various power plants and oil refineries, utilising 77mm and 100mm devices.

Renewables

RIR successfully developed, designed, manufactured and commissioned a soft starter for a 1250KW wind turbine using SCR modules.
