A multicap fund must have at least 25% of its assets allocated to large-cap stocks, 25% to mid-cap stocks, and an additional 25% to small-cap stocks. Multi-cap funds are defined as those that must maintain at least 75% of their assets in equity and equity-related instruments at any given time. Samco Multi Cap Fund is a 4-in-1 equity scheme that provides investors with diversified exposure to various market capitalizations by allocating 25% of its investment portfolio to large, mid, small, and small cap companies beyond the Nifty 500. The fund’s investment objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation for investors.
Samco Mutual Fund has launched an open-ended fund that makes investments in large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks. The scheme’s new fund offer, or NFO, will be available for subscription starting on October 10 and ending on October 24. An NIFTY 500 MultiCap 50:25:25 Total Returns Index benchmark will be used to measure the program’s performance. Dhawal Ghanshyam Dhanani, Paras Matalia, and Umeshkumar Mehta will oversee the program.
Approximately 10% of units can be redeemed within the first year following allocation without resulting in an exit load. A 1% exit load will be applied to any redemption made during the first 12 months that exceeds this cap. If redeemed or replaced within a year of the unit’s allocation date, there is no exit load.
“The introduction of our Multi Cap Fund is a major turning point in our quest to provide cutting-edge financial solutions. We think that this fund fills a significant gap in the market by offering a strategy that can dynamically navigate across market capitalization while keeping a laser-like focus on risk control. “Our goal is to offer investors the chance to build long-term wealth while keeping downside protection in mind,” stated SAMCO Asset Management CEO Viraj Gandhi.
For lump sum applications, the minimum amount required is Rs 5,000, with subsequent multiples of Rs 1. The SIP requires a minimum investment of Rs 500 with a minimum of 12 installments. The plan will invest 0-25% in foreign securities, 0-25% in debt and money market instruments, and 25-50% in each of large, mid, and small-cap stocks.
Conclusion: According to the SAMCO Multi Cap Fund’s investment strategy, is supported by thorough investigation and a data-driven approach. They have created a strong framework that allows us to find opportunities in all segments of the market, from small to large caps, and even outside of the Nifty 500.
