Samsung Partners with Paytm for Ticket Booking Integration on Samsung Wallet

On June 13, 2024, One97 Communications Ltd, known for its platform Paytm, informed in an exchange filing that Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, has launched flight, bus, movie, and event ticket bookings on Samsung Wallet. This launch is in partnership with One97 Communications Ltd. The partnership aims to enhance consumer convenience by offering a seamless, integrated booking experience directly through Samsung Wallet, providing access to a wide range of services via Paytm.

With this collaboration, Galaxy smartphone users will now enjoy seamless access to Paytm’s range of services, including flight and bus bookings, movie tickets, and event reservations, all integrated within the Samsung Wallet.

Galaxy smartphone users using the Paytm app for flight, bus, and movie bookings and the Paytm Insider app for event reservations can now add their tickets directly to Samsung Wallet with the ‘Add to Samsung Wallet’ functionality. This feature allows them to conveniently access their tickets for entry at airports, bus terminals, cinemas, event venues, and more.

The company stated that as the Paytm app is the most preferred app for travel and event bookings for Indians, its alliance with Samsung opens new avenues for users to access its services, in line with its efforts to drive further convenience.
