Signpost India Ltd., a leading out-of-home advertising company, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), a premier Indian oil marketing company, announced a strategic collaboration to generate additional non-fuel revenue for BPCL. This partnership leverages Signpost India’s extensive network and innovative cloud-based platform to create a win-win situation for both companies.

Expanding Reach and Revenue Streams

The agreement grants Signpost India the rights to develop and deploy smart city information panels with commercial display spaces across BPCL’s vast network of fuel pumps in 60 key cities. These strategically located panels will provide a robust platform for brands to reach a wide audience, particularly along major arterial roads within these cities.

Crucially, 20% of the available display space will be dedicated specifically to BPCL’s own business promotions, allowing the company to enhance its brand presence and explore new revenue streams.

Targeting High-Growth Markets

The selection of these 60 cities is no coincidence. These locations represent major metros, prominent business hubs, and key tourist and religious destinations, all characterised by significant economic dynamism and urban growth. This strategic model aligns perfectly with the growing national economy, which in FY 2023 witnessed a substantial contribution of ₹109 lakh crore through GST revenue.

This economic development is further accentuated by a surging vehicle population that has reached an impressive ₹6.93 crore. Signpost India recognises the transformative potential of these regions and has designed its business model to capitalise on this growth trajectory.
